I like how you're planning to approach putting together a portfolio. I've never had a portfolio either and so I think I'll try to join in at times. I'm currently doing a Cert III in Visual Arts which didn't need a portfolio as part of the application process. If I choose to continue after this certificate I'll need a portfolio. Looking forward to seeing how you go.

The Cert III is in person which is great. I'm studying part time because I'm also doing a masters course at uni (that unfortunately is all online). So my art class is an afternoon a week and then any practice work we do outside of class. At the moment we're focusing on drawing and have been using charcoals and grey leads. Focusing on the elements of drawing such as tone, composition, etc.

I didn’t know it was a ginger cat thing! We’re leaving today to look after a dog named Reggie 🐕 The course sounds great!
