Hi, I’m Libby Brewster, a new illustrator.

The New Illustrator is a place where those new to the industry or changing direction, can access resources to find tips, confidence and community.

I’ve recently become a new illustrator and I am a self-confessed research ninja. I’ve made a huge database of courses, workshops, drawing clubs, competitions and blogs and it’s time for me to share it all with you.

Becoming an illustrator is imposter syndrome central but in a short few months, with the support of others, I’ve gained the confidence to say ‘I am an illustrator.

A bit more about me

After studying design engineering, I spent 15 years in manufacturing of some kind. I used my creativity in many ways, except through my true passion, drawing and illustration. Now I’m turning the tables and putting it out in the world that I’m ready for a new adventure.
